Dr. Eggleston is a family-oriented practitioner who loves the life with which he is blessed. He and his lovely wife, Moira, are fortunate to have five beautiful kids. He was born and raised in the state of Wyoming. He migrated to Iowa to attend college as a student-athlete. He excelled in both areas, graduating Magna Cum Laude and finishing his athletic career as an All-American wrestler.
Dr. Eggleston attended dental school at the University of Iowa. While in dental school, he was selected for the US Army health professions scholarship program. He earned his DDS in 2004 and began his military career. As a general military dentist, Dr. Eggleston was selected for and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. He served three years on active duty and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006-2007.
Immediately following his active duty tour, he was admitted into the prestigious Endodontic Residency at the University of Minnesota. During the residency, he served as the Chief Resident of the program. In addition to obtaining his specialization credentials, Dr. Eggleston completed a Master’s level research project centered on controlling post-operative discomfort. He built a practice from scratch in Iowa and became a leader in the use of 3D imaging in endodontic practice. He sold this practice in 2016 to allow his family to move to the great state of Texas.
Outside of the office, Dr. Eggleston finds ways to connect and invest time with his wife and kids. This includes playing family card games, walks, runs, biking, coloring, Legos, Nerf wars, cooking, and much, much more.
